Deborah Lippmann Lara's Theme with Sephora by OPI Naughty is the New Nice and OPI Simmer and Shimmer (accent)

A mani I did recently...2 coats of Deborah Lippmann Lara's Theme, and on my accent nail, 1 coat of Sephora by OPI Naughty is the New Nice and 2 coats of OPI Simmer and Shimmer. I really liked this combo! The orange and blue really go pretty nicely together.
Lara's Theme is great as ever, still one of my all time favorite polishes. Definitely the best orange I've ever used. Last time I used Simmer and Shimmer, I didn't use a base color, and that helped sooo much this time. Naughty is the New Nice looked great under it.
So, pretty sure I'd say this mani was a success!

Sephora by OPI Chestnuts About You

Before we begin discussing this polish...look at my nails! Square! UGH! I thought I'd try out square nails just this once, and it didn't work out for me at all. I'm sticking to rounded from now on...now I realize how much better it personally is for me. This is the only mani I did with my square nails. I'm back to rounded now!
Anyways, onto this polish. This is Sephora by OPI Chestnuts About You (the website says Chest-nuts, but bottle says Chestnuts so I'm going with that...not that big of a deal, just thought I'd say it). I'd say this is a champagne-ish foil...not really a true foil (it's not as foil-y as, say, the Orly foils), but I'd still consider it a foil. Did I say foil enough in the last sentence? Now it sounds so odd. Foil, foil, foil...
Back to this! I used two coats, and one of Seche Vite. Application was fine, not bad by any means, nothing exceptional. Just fine.
I like this. It's kinda light for my skintone, but still...not bad. Again, not super duper sparkly like most foils. That's fine though. Cute name...I was satisfied with the color...what more should I ask for?

Sephora by OPI Naughty Is the New Nice

The first official holiday polish I've worn this season! :) This is Sephora by OPI Naughty Is the New Nice, from the new Holiday collection.
Man oh man, do I love this! This is SUCH a pretty, light silvery-blue foil. Looking at it up close is so cool...you can see all the light silver flakes mingling with the blue flakes.
I used 2 coats on this, and one of Seche Vite, and application was just great. No problems anywhere.
Really, I don't have much to say about this one because it's just awesome! I ordered this mostly because I loved the name, haha, but the color is way more gorgeous than I thought it'd be just judging by Sephora's website.
Okay, my gushing is over...for now!

OPI Pros & Bronze

(with flash)

(without flash)

The other polish from the most recent OPI-Serena duo...the one that came with Love Is a Racket. No idea what it's called. All I know is that both of the polishes in that set are glorious.
Look at this!! Enlarge the pictures or something, cuz it's just crazy awesome! I'm not a fan of the pics I took, I couldn't really show the cool fleckiness of it...I tried though! I'd describe this as a bronze microglitter foil, but the great thing about it is that it's not just bronze in there...there's a bunch of pink in there too, and darker bronze, and gold, and oh my, it's just too gorgeous. These pictures don't even begin to capture it.
I used three coats of this and one coat of Seche Vite. I figured this would remove like a shimmer or something and it wouldn't be that bad, but I was sadly mistaken. Removal was bad. I should've known, since it's microglitter, but no. I mean, it wasn't the worst thing ever, but it took a while, and some scrubbing. It's worth it, though.
Unfortunately, this didn't quite mesh with my skintone. I just can't do gold. It's a tragedy. I love gold so much, but I just can't wear it. Ah well. I wear it anyways. I'm a rebel.

So, that's what I have to show for now!

Sincerely, Cat
