Long time no post! I've been doing my nails a lot but never posting. I had to share this mani though, because I think these polishes are just super gorgeous!<br />

So this is 2 coats of Disney Beautifully Off to the Ball, with 1 coat of Sephora Formula X Demolition, and 1 coat of Nails Inc Kensington Caviar top coat. These two polishes go really well together! I bought Off to the Ball a few months ago when I was in Disney World, but I hadn't used it until now. It's really, really pretty. It's a fairly sheer light, light blue. After 2 coats, I had no VNL. Good formula, and the bottles are just adorable. I'm a sucker for Disney!<br />
Demolition is awesome...it's from the Xplosives part of Sephora's new Formula X line. Formula X has a great range of colors and effects. I'm so glad to see Sephora introducing these fun polishes! Demolition is a mix of different sizes of glitter, in white, light orange, lime green, and light blue. I LOVE the matte glitters!! So different. I'm in love with this, and you can pair it with so many different base shades. I had pretty good coverage in 1 coat, but you could definitely go with 2 if you wanted. I'm really interested in getting some more of these Formula X polishes...I've tried a couple of different finishes, and the ones I've tried have all been really nice!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Omg! I just got my first ever RBL polishes in the mail this weekend...I'm in love! My order included NailsandNoms, Fashion Polish, Piu Mosso, and Turn it Around...seriously, they're all GORGEOUS but I'm absolutely in love with NailsandNoms right now!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Today I'm wearing two coats of NailsandNoms, and my accent nail is two coats of Ciate Pepperminty. Besides being stunning, NaN also had a perfect formula that practically applied itself...no problems whatsoever. And like I said, it is truly beautiful...the shimmer is so striking yet subtle and wearable. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Pepperminty is also an awesome polish too. Way pigmented and a beautiful shade of turquoise. This is my first Ciate polish (I got it in the Colourfoil set) and I'm really liking it! I also love the Ciate bottles, the little ribbon around the cap is such an adorable touch.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, I'm really liking this combo...will hopefully have more RBL swatches up soon!</div>

Here's Rave by Jindie Nails! I can't stop looking at my nails. I just adore this. <br />
<br />
I used 2 coats here and one of Seche Vite. I think 2 coats is the perfect amount, at 3 you just cover up a little too much of the glitter, unless you do really really thin coats. Application on this was awesome. I didn't have to do any fishing and I got a great variety of glitter on my nails. I did set my bottle upside down for 5-10 minutes before applying, not sure if that makes much difference but it usually helps with glitters.<br />
<br />
In real life, the glitter's a little bit brighter, but it was hard to capture in the pictures. The neon just looks perfect with the milky white base. Ugh. Gorgeous. And my nails are actually at a pretty good length right now. I've been growing them for a few weeks, and they're getting longer, slowly but surely. I keep debating if I wanna go back to square tips or stay rounded! The eternal question. I think I'll stay rounded for a little while longer. <br />
<br />
Oh and speaking of Jindie, my backordered Honey Blue Blue shipped the other day! Exciting! It's supposed to be here by Friday, I just can't wait! And of course since I have absolutely no self-control, I'm already planning my next Llarowe order...Candy Land, you will be mine.<br />

Yeah...personally I think it looks better from far away than it does close up, but I actually don't think it turned out too bad! I used 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow as the base. For the spots I used 4 of my frankens (obviously, a random blue, pink, purple, and green), and for the outline on the spots, I used Deborah Lippmann Stormy Weather. I thought the grey would be a little less harsh with the pastels than black, which is what I usually use for cheetah nail art.<br />
So, yeah, I'm obviously not much of a nail artist, but I thought this looked fun and really didn't turn out too bad. I had a lot of people asking me if I did these myself, if they were polish strips, etc. And I got a lot of compliments on them, so I can't complain!<br />
I've been getting into nail art recently, which sucks because I'm just sooo bad at it!! Maybe if I keep working I'll get somewhat decent at it, though. Who knows. <br />

This is Emily de Molly the Fifth Element, one of the new polishes I bought from Llarowe a few weeks ago. How gorgeous is it?! <br />
I used two coats here, and one of Seche Vite. Turquoise creme-jelly base, larger orange hex glitter, smaller blue and orange hexes, and some smaller blue glitter. I swear, the orange and blue are the perfect combination. The crelly base lets the glitter peek out perfectly. <br />
Application was perfect. No troubles at all. I did put my bottle upside down an hour or two before doing my nails so the larger glitter would go on my nails easier. I also tried to do thinner coats so the glitter would be more visible...not sure how good of a job I did on that but I tried my best, haha. Also, this being my first EdM, I noticed that the brush and the formula were really great. <br />
Seriously, I'm loving this. I really don't want to take this off my nails, except for the fact that I want to try my other new Llarowe polishes! Lol. <br />

My first order ever from Llarowe! Eeep!!<br />
I actually ordered 5 polishes but one is backordered (which is Jindie Nails Honey Blue Blue), but the 4 I have are (from l-r) Jindie Nails I'm a Star Dot Com, Jindie Nails Rave, Emily de Molly The Fifth Element, and Emily de Molly Flutterby Garden. How gorgeous are they?!<br />
So far I've tried I'm a Star and Fifth Element (I'm actually wearing Fifth right now) and they are just stunning as can be. I didn't photo I'm a Star but I for sure will soon, and I'll be posting Fifth shortly. I am sooo excited to try the others as well!<br />
Never having ordered from Llarowe before, I have to say, they are AWESOME! I had no issues with shipping or anything like that, and my polishes all arrived safely and timely (besides the backordered one of course, but I actually don't think it's a bad thing...now I have something else to look forward to!) And of course, I'm now already deciding which polishes to order next. Ha. <br />

A mani I did recently...2 coats of Deborah Lippmann Lara's Theme, and on my accent nail, 1 coat of Sephora by OPI Naughty is the New Nice and 2 coats of OPI Simmer and Shimmer. I really liked this combo! The orange and blue really go pretty nicely together. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lara's Theme is great as ever, still one of my all time favorite polishes. Definitely the best orange I've ever used. Last time I used Simmer and Shimmer, I didn't use a base color, and that helped sooo much this time. Naughty is the New Nice looked great under it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, pretty sure I'd say this mani was a success!</div>

Eeeee!! Look at one of my newest frankens! I'm in love with it :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I named this baby after Lady Gaga's song Heavy Metal Lover, one of my favorite songs at the moment. It just seemed so fitting, cuz I mean...look at it! The glitter, the shimmer, the base color...it's crazy! I adore this. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I don't even know how to describe the color of this. I used two coats, and it's like a dark charcoal, multi colored foil, filled with every shade of shimmer, some random glitter, a couple flakies and some larger silver holo glitter. In the right lighting you can see the almost-duochrome-ness of it, and in certain lighting, it even looks a little holo-y.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is so ridiculously random with the shimmer and everything...I'm in love with it. I can't even stand how much I love it. Ah!!</div>

This is an oldie from this summer that I found in my drafts! Here's Essie Pretty Edgy with an accent nail of OPI Fresh Frog of Bel Air.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Obviously since these pics were taken a couple months ago, I'm not positive on number of coats, but I do remember that Pretty Edgy had a great formula, so I'd assume I used 2 coats, and Fresh Frog was not so much a great formula. I used at least 3 or 4 coats of the glitter, if not more. It wasn't actually the formula that wasn't good, it's just that it's one of those glitters where full coverage is nearly impossible. That's fine with me, though. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really like this combo. Pretty Edgy is so gorgeous. I can't believe it was still in my untried pile! Crazy!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Another of the Germany collection...I felt the need to spice this one up with some glitter, lol! Also, as you can see, my long nails are long gone...time to break out the short tips again! Nothing wrong with that of course, but it does feel weird to adjust to short nails again. Ah well.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is 2 coats of OPI Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue, 1 coat of OPI Servin' Up Sparkle, 1 coat of Sephora by OPI Beam Me Up Hottie!, and 1 coat of Seche Vite. Excuse the tipwear...it looks a LOT worse in pictures. I didn't realize how bad it was till I started looking through these pictures, ha.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Unfor-Greta-Bly was a good polish, if a little boring. The formula was great, the finish is nice, it's just that the color's not all that unique. Pretty much your basic blue shimmer. I mean, it's obviously a great polish if you don't have anything like it in your collection, but looking through my few hundred polishes...yeah, I see some very similar ones just at first glance. SUS is great as always, but I thought my nails could use a little something more...so I added Beam Me Up Hottie (hahaha I absolutely love that name...that's basically what I bought it for, but it is actually great), my recent glitter obsession. BMUH is all glitter of the same size--large holo silver hex in a clear base. It's seriously awesome and looks good over anything, but it goes especially nicely as an addition to SUS. So nice. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, I guess that's basically all for now!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's a polish from OPI's gorgeous Germany collection this fall! Seriously, I've fallen head over heels for this collection. It's pure fall perfection. This is actually, I think, the 3rd or 4th of the Germany polishes that I've used, but I didn't photograph all of them. Hopefully soon, lol!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Look at this! This is so vampy and pretty. Hard to describe, which makes it all the better. It looks like a red/brown/purple vampy shimmer. Really, though, it's more of an indigo-purple with bright red shimmer at first, but it builds up to a vampy wine shade. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Two coats here, and one of Seche Vite. It's super shiny, smooth...great formula, brush, everything. Seriously, this fall collection is phenomenal. Of all the polishes in this collection I've used so far, everything's been pretty much flawless. I'm in love. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And I'm so happy that this year's fall collec is awesome, because for the most part, I didn't like last year's collection at all. (Except for Roadhouse Blues, but that's a different story.) This collection sorta reminds me of the Swiss collection a few years back, which I also adored. Not really totally similar, but they're alike in some ways. I don't know. Anyways.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
More polish strips! Yay! This is my first time trying out Incoco because I won these strips free in a giveaway from Seventeen magazine! Haha. I think they're called "Perfect Prom Purple" but I'm not really sure so I just refer to them as purple glitter gradient strips lol. It's funny though because I wore purple to prom this year so when I saw the name of these I was like "perfect prom...hmm." So I compared them to my dress still hanging in my closet and they truly are the perfect purple to match my dress...what a coincidence. Anyways.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Application on these was like all other polish strips I've used: pick your strip, peel off the clear layer, peel off the backing, smooth onto your nail, file off the excess. I found these to be the complete opposite of the Sephora by OPI Trend Tips I tried a couple weeks ago in my last post--the excess was really difficult to file off and my tips ended up really rough because of that. I'm guessing that's because these are glitter strips, which I've never tried before. I've only ever used shimmer polish strips, I'm pretty sure. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That was one downside...the rough edges cause A LOT of tipwear, like HUGE tipwear by the next day. There was no way I could keep wearing them without touching up my tips, so luckily I found that OPI Grape Set Match was a PERFECT match on the tips of these. Sigh of relief! I ended up doing a touchup every day that I wore these (5 days total...I can't handle keeping the same manicure on for much longer than that!) and it really needed it every single day. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Besides that issue, I think these are extremely gorgeous, especially on longer nails. I wanted to use these while my nails were long (I've since cut them down completely :( ) and I'm serious, it looked stunning in person. I got a lot of people asking if I did these myself...ha, I wish! The one thing about the design is that I can't decide if I love it or not that it's not a very gradual gradient..it goes from super light, pretty much clear at the bottom, to dark purple right in the middle, with not too much in between. On the one hand, I wish there was more mid-toned purple in the middle, to make it look like more of a true "fade" look. But on the other hand, I looove that they basically look like glitter-fied purple French tips. I never wear French manicures, but when they're done right, I think they can be one of the prettiest things in the universe. These strips? Totally gorgeous. Love them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It was nice to get to try out a new brand...I did really like these, but if I use Incoco strips again, I'd probably go for more of the shimmer finish ones. But, I can put up with the hassle of glitter strips if they're as beautiful as these ones!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Polish strips have been my jam lately! One of my friends gave me a box of the Sally Hansen ones for my birthday and I really, really liked them, so when I found these ones at Sephora, I had to try them out. How cute is the design?!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These pictures were taken one week after I put the strips on. I think they held up really well, considering how long my nails are and how harsh I am on my nails, lol. Aside from a little tipwear, I had no chips or any damage after a week. The only sort of wear I noticed was along my cuticles. On the nails where I didn't press the strips on quite as well, the strips started to lift a teensy bit, but none of them started peeling or anything like that. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Application on these was like other polish strips I've tried. Start with bare nails, find the strip that fits, detach it, peel off the clear part, and peel off the backing. Then of course smooth them onto your nail and file off the excess. I find application on strips is easy but fairly time consuming. I love not having to wait for them to dry, though. I also liked that it seemed especially easy to file off the excess on these...on some thicker strips I've tried, it seems like it's more difficult to file off the ends, and they end up all ragged and catching on stuff...not these. I was disappointed though that the tiniest strip was too skinny for my pinky, but the next size up was too wide. I ended up using the smallest one, and since there was a huge gap between the strip and my skin, I cut off a little of another strip and put it on the gap. It blended in perfectly and surprisingly it worked out pretty well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Another thing I don't like is that there's 16 strips in here, enough to get 2 manicures out of if you work carefully, but they're all packaged together, so you have to use them all at once or they'll dry out. I only used 10 or 11 strips (if I tried, and if my nails were shorter, you'd only need 5 for a full manicure) so I was left with 5 or 6 strips, and they were all the bigger sizes. Perfect for toenails, but I'd already done a pedicure. I ended up putting them back in the foil wrapper and taping it shut so maybe (I'm hoping!) they won't completely dry out and I can use them for a pedicure soon. If they do dry out, oh well. I still got a week's manicure out of it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I don't feel like the price on these is too bad. They were $12, but I imagine if I had the patience to keep a manicure on for more than a week that these would last AT LEAST 2 weeks. Sadly, I can't even imagine keeping a manicure for more than a week...I get way too antsy. I need change, lol! Seriously, I start getting anxious to change my nails if I don't do them at least every other day, if not every day. Sad but true.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think it's funny though...I've had a lot of people lately ask if my nails are fake, but they think I did this manicure myself, when it's the other way around. My nails are real, but my mani's fake, lol! I wish I could do these nails myself. Ha.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Oh. My. Gahhh. How gorgeous is this?! Just...look at it. I could stare at this manicure for days, seriously.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2 coats of Deborah Lippmann Flash Dance, 1 coat of Seche Vite, and 1 coat of OPI Top Coat. Good coverage on this...two coats was great. The problem with it (as with many glitters) is that it's a total topcoat eater. It was extremely rough and bumpy after 1 thick coat, so every day I wore this I added another coat of the OPI Top Coat over it. Which helped, but it was still bumpy as heck, lol.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Seriously, it's stunning. It's kind of a purple-y, magenta jelly base, with tiny pink and purple glitter and larger hot pink glitter. I feel like I could just gush about this all day.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I can't wait to wear this again! I've been wearing a lot of glitter lately. I'm in looove with glitter, besides removal, but even that's not really that bad, because I've been using one of those little scrubby tub things lately. It's so convenient!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And I love the length of my nails right now, too! I've been growing them out just for fun to see how long they'd get before they broke, and they look awesome. I have to cut them soon and I'm gonna be so sad, lol! But they do get pretty annoying at this length. So, I guess I won't mind going back to super short nails soon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyways, just wanted to show this extremely pretty polish off!</div>

<span id="goog_1370479476"></span><span id="goog_1370479477">Here's one of my favorite combos that I've worn a couple times lately: China Glaze For Audrey and Sephora by OPI Lagoon-a Beach. Two coats of FA, one coat of LB, I believe.</span><br />
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this layering because it looks super gorgeous! Lagoon-a Beach (which unfortunately isn't available anymore...and my bottle is running pretty low...eek!) is way too sheer to wear on its own. I did wear it alone once, and it took four coats just to look somewhat decent. So I was trying to find a color to wear under it...I thought maybe OPI What's With the Cattitude, but then I saw For Audrey and it just worked out perfectly. FA is bright enough to really make the shimmer of LB shine, but it's not so overpowering that the shimmer isn't noticeable...I don't really know how to explain it, but it looks really really nice, lol. Very summery and beachy...reminds me of the ocean!!<br />

Just a few polishes I picked up yesterday from Sally's and Trade Secret. Left to right: ChG Splish Splash, OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, ChG Beach Cruise-r, OPI Gone Gonzo, ChG Exotic Encounters, ChG Flip Flop Fantasy, ChG Hang-Ten Toes, and ChG Sun Worshipper. <br />
The base coat, Flip Flop Fantasy, and Sun Worshipper are all backups of my current bottles...I started using the OPI base coat a few months back and I really, really like it. It's a lot better than the base I was using before. And FFF and SW are 2 of my favorite neons and they're running low, so obviously it was a good idea to get backups.<br />
My Sally's didn't have much for the On Safari collection or the Summer Neons, but I did find a few...the only Safari that caught my eye was Exotic Encounters, which is a really nice dusty green. And the other 3 neons were super cute so I had to get those ones...there was really only a few blues and pinks left mostly, but I do like the ones I found. <br />
And of course I got my base coat at Trade Secret, but I've been really into glitter lately so I decided I might as well pick up Gone Gonzo too. <br />
So yeah...not too exciting but I was still glad I could pick these ones up! I can't wait to use all my new neons...I love neons so much lol!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I gave in and bought another Lippmann Mirrored Chrome (or whatever they're called) polish! This is the one I was originally eyeing anyways so I don't feel too bad...my Nordstrom got some more bottles of this shortly after I bought Sugar Daddy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I had issues capturing this one as well. The duochrome shows up so well in real life but terribly in pictures! This is a pretty metallic purple, with lots of pink tones as I can see, and with some great flashes of green and gold. It's not quite as duochromey as Sugar Daddy (the flashes in that one are CRAZY), but I still like this lots. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Application, not bad. A little bit of drag near cuticles, but then that's usually my fault. Used 3 coats here, was gonna go with 2 but 3 darkened it up perfectly. I wouldn't wear less than 3 coats. Perfect opacity. Very pretty! I like this, maybe not as much as Sugar Daddy, but I'm still impressed.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My mani today! 2 coats of MAC Near Beth Experience with 1 coat of OPI Servin' Up Sparkle, and 1 coat of Seche Vite.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
NBE is only my 2nd MAC polish...I was really impressed with my first, Ocean Dip. I like NBE, but yeah, it could've been better...formula and brush wise. The 1st coat was super streaky, and the 2nd evened it out, but there was still a lot of dragging near the cuticle. I do actually like the brush though, even with all the dragging...I like the shape and length of the bristles. I love the shade of yellow...pastel yellow is my jam, haha. It looks really close to China Glaze Lemon Fizz, I haven't compared them yet but off the top of my head they look really similar. That one was a little easier to work with. Lol. Maybe similar to OPI Banana Bandana, too? Hmm. Maybe not. Formula on that one's not very good anyways, ha.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So yeah, application wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't that bad. And obviously 3 coats would've been ideal, but I was in a bit of a hurry and 2 looked fine. Plus I did some layering so that helped, lol. SUS is great as always...it's definitely my favorite glitter to layer with. Works with any color and it's GORGEOUS, plus application is good...you don't need to work to place the glitter or anything.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So yeah...liking this combo! I really do like NBE, I'll for sure use it again sometime. And SUS, of course...one of my ultimate favorites. And my nail shape right now...I'm not quite sure. I think I like it. I kinda miss my square tips, but they were IMPOSSIBLE. ALL of my nails were breaking and they were so so weak. It was terrible. And then I went to rounded tips and they stopped cracking...they're still not very strong but at least I'm not breaking multiple nails every day. Ugh. I just don't know. But anyways.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Another of my new summer frankens! This is Sweet Love, Tasty Blood (yeah, it's a weird name if you don't understand where it came from, lol...it's from a lyric in the song And Then You Kissed Me by the Cardigans, which is a GREAT song by the way!).<br />
So, 2 coats here, and one coat of Seche Vite. All I can say is...the shimmer is stunning. That's really the main reason I make frankens, just to get all these weird colors of shimmer together to see how they look. Yeah, this one's good.<br />
The base is a vibrant red, but almost like a bright brick red. It's got an orange tint to it. And the base is somewhat sheer, because the polish is packed with shimmer. A lot of fleck-type shimmer, especially gold. One of the reasons the shimmer is so crazy though is that I added a little bit of some different holos that I have, so the shimmer in this doesn't really resemble any other polishes. <br />
I love this. It's a red, it has crazy shimmer, I think it's gorgeous. I have to say, I've never really seen another polish like this before. Wonderful. And I still have a few of my other summer frankens sitting untried...will have to test those out soon! :)<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Just mixed up a new batch of frankens for summer, and I have to say...I made some good ones this time around! Here's the first one I've worn, OMW. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2 coats, plus one of Seche Vite. Seriously, I liked this in the bottle, but on the nail it's soo stunning. Base color is a medium blue, slightly purple. It's pretty...not quite royal blue, not sky blue, not purple. Hard to describe, but I like it. And then there's the shimmer in it. It's like foil-y silver, blue, and purple shimmer. So pretty. It took a while to perfect this while I was mixing it but I'm really happy with how it turned out. I love making frankens. So relaxing. Seriously, the others I mixed up are really pretty too...I tried to make a good range of colors, and I think I succeeded. They're nice and bright. And shimmery. Yesss.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Loving the shape and length of my nails lately, too. I just want them to keep growing and stop breaking!!! Every time I try to grow out the squares they chip. So frustrating. I don't want round tips, I want square, and I want them long! Aughhh. I've been using Sally Hansen Hard as Nails...hopefully it's working. My nails are just so weak, and it's weird because I don't know why. They never used to be this way...and I used to take bad care of them too, so it doesn't even make sense. Probably just cuz I went square, but still. Whatever.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hard to photograph this one! This is Deborah Lippmann Sugar Daddy, one of the new-ish Mirrored Chrome finish polishes. Only one I picked up from that collection.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Just like it's hard to photo, it's also hard to describe. It starts off a champagne, beige-pink metallic. Then in different lightings you start to catch the wicked gold, green, and pink flashes. Damn. That green flash is especially stunning. I wish I could've picked up the pink flash more in pictures, but it was like impossible, ha.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2 coats here, and one of Seche Vite. Watch out for brushstrokes...darn metallics. It's not super bad, but yeah, they're noticeable if you don't keep an eye on them. Application wasn't bad though. It's a light shade, so I thought I might need 3 coats...nah, 2 was good. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's a pretty shade, but I'm not madly in love with it. I'm glad I have it, it's just...it's soo light. and my skin is so light. I think this'd look good on someone with skin a little darker than mine (which is pretty much everyone I've ever met...HA). Not that it looks bad on me. But, you know.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Here's OPI Wing It! 2 coats and 1 coat of Seche Vite. Thought about using 3 coats but I kind of like how it looks with just a tiny bit of VNL. Such a pretty color...I use this a lot. Makes a nice pedi. Beautiful pink/red/almost orange at certain angles, with blue-ish glass fleck shimmer. Hard to describe, but just gorgeous. Wish this was still available, my bottle's running pretty low. Hard to believe this was released 2 years ago...seems like it was just the other day. 2010 was a good year for OPI. What was it, Hong Kong and Swiss collections? Alice in Wonderland? Shrek...yeah, that was a good year. Maybe not Burlesque. I wasn't a huge fan of that collection. It wasn't terrible, though. Speaking of which...<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Right before I took this off, I decided to mess with it a little. I've always wanted to try a gradient but all the ones I've done have turned out really bad...this time I tried a glitter that totally contrasted with the base color and it turned out kinda cool I think. I didn't actually wear my nails like this (I took it off right after I took these pics), but I would consider doing this type of mani for real. For this, I used OPI Bring on the Bling, from the Burlesque collection (see, I think the Burlesque glitters are actually better for layering, not for wearing by themselves). I like the contrast between the pink and gold...I think it'd look cool using like silver with green glitter, or blue with pink...I think I'll play around with combos sometime. Then maybe I can actually get good at this kinda stuff...I suck at nail art. Haha. </div>

Went shopping this past weekend for my birthday! Finally got up to Sephora and Nordstrom...and I found some happy surprises!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8yjjysItbwo/T71CK0iooWI/AAAAAAAAA-E/pYtn4YV3o_A/s1600/027.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" qba="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8yjjysItbwo/T71CK0iooWI/AAAAAAAAA-E/pYtn4YV3o_A/s320/027.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Butter London Macbeth. My very first BL! Saw this at Nordstrom and because of the name, I HAD to have it...I love Macbeth. The color's good too, haha...it's a nice coral. The flash really distorts the color. It's a lot less pink in real life. Ah well. Very excited to try this out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FoQb8RwuQsc/T71CWBZ0oeI/AAAAAAAAA-M/91mIQLhls8g/s1600/030.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" qba="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FoQb8RwuQsc/T71CWBZ0oeI/AAAAAAAAA-M/91mIQLhls8g/s320/030.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Nordstrom also had a shitload of new Lippmanns. I guess I can't complain about that, lol. One of the new collections I found was the metallic/prism/whatever they're called polishes...I really like Private Dancer, but that one was all sold out. Swagga Like Us looks pretty much exactly like Chanel Peridot, so skip. That leaves Sugar Daddy, which I was kinda unsure about, but since I read Scrangie's rave about it, I figured it must be pretty good. So of course, I picked this one up! And it is really pretty. Again, can't wait to try this one!<br />

Mermaid's Dream. Oh lord. I put this on my nails a few days ago and I still haven't stopped drooling over it. Freaking perfect. I swear, even though I usually get bored with a polish after 2 or 3 days...I think I could wear this for the rest of the summer and be perfectly content. I don't think I've ever seen a polish this unique and gorgeous.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UEyyJXUdL_U/T71CsyY1vRI/AAAAAAAAA-c/B8aFZRflPVI/s1600/032.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" qba="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UEyyJXUdL_U/T71CsyY1vRI/AAAAAAAAA-c/B8aFZRflPVI/s320/032.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Another new collection I spotted was the dance-themed glitters...well, I found Flash Dance and Just Dance, but my Nordstrom didn't have Dancing in the Dark, which is one I was looking forward to. Ah well, this is Flash Dance, and it's stunning. Gorgeous mix of pink and purple glitter. Super excited to put this on my nails. I love glitter.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iaYvPaxlQYU/T71C4BZvuTI/AAAAAAAAA-k/iIb84f0IxTs/s1600/034.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" qba="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iaYvPaxlQYU/T71C4BZvuTI/AAAAAAAAA-k/iIb84f0IxTs/s320/034.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
And an awesome surprise...my Sephora has COMPLETELY revamped their nail section, and started carrying tons of new brands. Julep, SpaRitual, Dior...Illamasqua. YES. This is Illamasqua Phallic. This is my second Illamasqua, Baptiste being my first, and I was sooo impressed with that one. So happy that I can now find this brand in store instead of only being able to get it online.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-e_SeNwwnAg8/T71DC4EewKI/AAAAAAAAA-s/CSdGp5VpqG0/s1600/035.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" qba="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-e_SeNwwnAg8/T71DC4EewKI/AAAAAAAAA-s/CSdGp5VpqG0/s320/035.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
And of course, I can't leave Sephora without a little bit of Urban Decay. The Stash liner that I got in my 15th Anniversary set a long, long time ago (like, a year and half!) was defective, so I only got a few uses out of it before giving it to my sister (haha). I had a mini sample size of it which had run out, so I figured I needed a full size of it. I've never tried Graffiti before, though, so I figured I needed that one too, lol...I didn't have a bright green like it. I wanted to get Deviant also, but I have soo many UD liners already. I'm totally getting that one someday though, ha.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FbZcZaQNMa0/T71DZNz0xyI/AAAAAAAAA-8/buWdY83kMQs/s1600/039.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" qba="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FbZcZaQNMa0/T71DZNz0xyI/AAAAAAAAA-8/buWdY83kMQs/s320/039.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And of course, no trip to Sephora is complete without some Philosophy. Usually I'm good with one set, but I totally needed both of these sets this time. Top pic is the Cabana Girl set, bottom pic is the Italian Soda Shop set. One word: YUM. Not a weak link in either set. Every summer, I ALWAYS have to snag Philosophy's newest coconut set...last year it was Aloha Girl, which was vanilla coconut and was pretty good, but this year Cabana Girl is guava coconut and it's AMAZING. Smells sooo delish. Philsophy's 3-in-1s are good as always, lotion is top-notch like usual, and lip gloss is delicious and perfect amount of color. Pretty sheer, which I like, and nice formula. Not too sticky or anything.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Italian Soda Shop set...damn, these smell good. I can't pick a favorite. The limoncello is the perfect mix of tart and sweet. To me, it smells exactly like a lemon Pez candy tastes. The strawberry is also really good. And black cherry...I know I had some other Philosophy black cherry scent back a couple years ago and this smells pretty much like that. I love the scent of black cherry. Yum.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyways, I guess I'd say my shopping was pretty successful! Now I'll have a couple new polishes to tide me over for a few weeks at least...lol. I'm going on vacation to Cali again this summer (soo excited!) and we're leaving in just a couple weeks, so I'll most likely be picking up some more polishes then. Woo!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My second Spiderman polish...I thought this one needed a little something extra, so of course glitter was the answer ;)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2 coats of OPI Into the Night, 1 coat (I think...maybe 2? No, I think 1) of Deborah Lippmann Some Enchanted Evening, and 1 coat of Seche Vite. I'm so glad I thought to use this glitter over Into the Night, because I think it looks amaaazing. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Into the Night is an interesting polish...personally when I was wearing it, I thought it looked purple most of the time, except for in certain lighting. In pictures though, it looks really blue...I like that though. Keeps you guessing! It's a pretty color though...I guess I'd consider it a metallic blurple. I like that it's not too dark, though. It's so bright and...shiny. I like it a lot. It reminds me a little of China Glaze Tempest (one of my absolute favorite polishes!). I think Tempest is more purple though, with a brighter blue flash. I wonder if I've posted that before? I don't think so...I'll have to. I wore it as a pedi for a month and half once. It's just wonderful. Anyways.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Formula was really good. I got a teensy bit of drag towards the cuticles, but that's probably my bad...I have a pretty heavy hand in application. And Some Enchanted Evening is good as ever. I love that glitter. Oh, Deborah. You can never do wrong.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
First Spiderman polish I tried! Gorgeousss!! This is OPI Number One Nemesis.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2 coats with one of Seche Vite. Super good application, great formula and brush as always. It has that nice kind of foil-y look to it. It's like a green/grey shimmer with tons of little different-colored speckly shimmer particles. Weird description, I know, but that's what it looks like...lol. To me, it's like the perfect combination of silver, gold, and green. I think it's just stunning.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Apparently this is super similar to Chanel Graphite which (thankfully) I didn't splurge for. I'm still a little mad that they put a dupe of Peridot in this collection...whatever. I love my Chanel. And I love this polish, too!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On an unrelated note, I had my last day of classes yesterday! So I'll probably be posting a lot more now, lol. I guess that's all for now...</div>
